Redesigning the Seat
As Ergonomics Lead for Brown Formula Racing, I’m redesigning our carbon-fiber seat to support drivers of different sizes within a tightly packaged cockpit. The project brings together seat geometry, driver visibility, interchangeable padding, and composite manufacturing.

We pioneered an AI-driven grid that scales renewable output.
Seat Geometry
I widened the shoulder area to fit the updated chassis and set the seat at approximately 137° to accommodate the fuel tank behind it. The shell establishes the seating position, while removable padding lets us adjust how individual drivers sit.
